Why Quadient has invested in a virtual demonstration centre

Wednesday, Oct 27th 2021

On the outskirts of London in Loughton, Essex, you can find Quadient’s manufacturing factory and Global Centre of Excellence Systems Showroom where our attended, on-site live demonstrations traditionally took place. At the same location, you can now find our new virtual demonstration centre facility that we have recently invested in.

The Virtual demonstration centre is the first of its kind, featuring top of the line broadcasting equipment, allowing us to virtually showcase both our hardware and software products in real time, with the current focus being on our high-volume mail production solutions. Further to this, being based in our manufacturing plant, real time product demonstrations can still take place in person if it is preferred. Offering a virtual option is just another investment we have made to improve the customer experience and increase our flexibility to suit the needs of our customers, the changing workplace dynamics and the recent travel restrictions.

Benefits of the demonstration centre

Purchasing a high production mailing system and workflow software requires a large investment. This naturally means there are typically a large number of stakeholders involved in this process – more than are usually involved in the purchase decision making procedure. Involving more stakeholders can slow down the process which, if there is an urgent need to implement this solution, can cause a great amount of stress. Essentially, the new demonstration centre accelerates your time to market by speeding up the decision-making stage, allowing you to implement the solution and start experiencing the benefits sooner.

Adding to this, we have also chosen to invest in the virtual demonstration centre so our customers receive the following benefits:

  • ConvenienceThe fact that demonstrations can take place virtually means customers avoid difficulties in organising suitable available dates for in person demonstrations, due to the amount of travel involved. It is also beneficial for those still concerned about face-to-face meetings
  • Reduces expenses – Travel is expensive. An online demonstration means companies do not have to pay a large amount to travel hundreds of miles and any potential overnight stays to take part in an in-person demonstration
  • Personal touch – Live demonstrations allow us to tailor what we present to specifically address a problem your company faces or a new venture or business stream you are pursuing

What can customers experience?

High Production and fast job change over mailing systems that deliver maximum performance. We have invested in the brand-new virtual demonstration centre in order to effectively display how our high production mailing systems & software, such as the DS-1200 G4i Folder Inserter , AIMS Integrity Software and Impress Automated Workflows. Providing customers with ideas on how they can improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and deliver new, higher margin revenue streams to the organisation.

Designed to meet the workflow demands of almost every high production, multi-job change mailing application, the DS-1200 G4i delivers maximum performance with the smallest footprint of any production-level solution. No matter what the job is, the DS-1200 G4i outperforms the competition every step of the way, from efficient paper loading to predictive intelligence that estimates when the job will be completed. Whatever your business requirements, the DS-1200 G4i can be configured with the appropriate modules.
